Personal Finance is just that: personal.

While numbers, charts, and spreadsheets have their place, the reality is that money is more than just mathematics. It’s intertwined with our habits, emotions, values, and personal histories. Traditional financial advice, which often leans on strict formulas and rigid guidelines, can feel out of touch with the intricate realities of our lives. My goal is to champion a more behavior-driven approach.

This blog will feature articles ranging from beginner to advanced money topics, broken down in a way for everyone to understand and easily take action based on different situations and behaviors.

About Me

My name is Lindsey Faessler and I am a millennial money nerd, wife, mom of 2 boys, Corporate Strategy Manager for a Fortune 500 company, and much more.

My interest in personal finance dates back to when my father gifted me a Dave Ramsey book was I headed off to college. While I never personally adopted Dave’s baby steps into my own life, it helped me appreciate the importance of money. Since then, I’ve spent a lot of my free time understanding how to manage my money and build wealth. Money may not buy happiness, but it removes many obstacles along the way.

My personal goal is to help others better understand personal finance topics, from beginner to advanced. There’s still a lot that I don’t know, and I am excited for us to learn together.
